Portugal’s capital lies at the mouth of the river Tagus. Portugal has a most famous wine, Port, the drink is named after Porto, the city.  They grow the grapes in the Duoro Valley

Portugal sell loads of handcraft pottery, mostly bought by tourists all of the year. They also do embroidery

10% of Portugal is farmland and they grow: crops, olives and figs, wine corks and tomatoes.  Most of the hilly mountains contain sheep.  The sheep are milked and their woolly coats are shaved off for wool.

Fishermen mend their nets on quarry sides; they fish for sardines and pilchards.
